Lord Jeffs Help Habitat for Humanity Level the Playing Field
January 25 - More than half of the Amherst College football team returned to campus this week to help build a Habitat for Humanity house just off campus. The players sacrificed a week of the winter vacation to get together as a group and lend a helping hand with their coaches. Full Story

Four Seniors Earn All-NESCAC Honors
November 16 - Four members of the Amherst College football team and class of 2007 ended their careers with the Lord Jeffs by earning All-NESCAC honors. Mark Hannon received First-Team honors for both offense and as a return specialist, while Brendan McKee earned First-Team defensive honors. Quarterback Nick Kehoe and lineman Matt Mascioli earned Second-Team offensive honors. Full Story

Jeffs End Season with 37-7 Loss to Williams
November 11 - The Amherst College football team dropped its final game of the season to archrival Williams College, 37-7, surrendering the Little Three title to the Ephs for the second consecutive season. Amherst finishes the season with a record of 5-3, while Williams finishes at a perfect 8-0. Full Story

Jeffs Look to Take Home Little Three Title with Win Over Williams
November 6 - The Amherst College football team can no longer win the 2006 NESCAC title, but a win over Williams College this Saturday will secure the coveted Little Three title. The Jeffs will hope to put an end to the Ephs' winning streak and hand them their first loss of the 2006 season. Full Story

Amherst Blanked by Trinity for Second Loss of Season
November 4 - The Amherst College football team dropped its second game of the season, as the Trinity College Bantams dominated the Lord Jeffs from start to finish for the 24-0 victory.  Amherst drops to 5-2, while Trinity improves to 6-1 and takes sole possession of second place in the NESCAC standings. October 31 - With both Amherst and Trinity dominating their opponents as of late, this weekend's match-up is expected to be a great battle between two 5-1 teams. With Williams sitting at 6-0, the Jeffs must win if they want a shot at a NESCAC title. Full Story

October 28 - The Amherst College football team toppled NESCAC rival Tufts University this afternoon for their fifth win of the season. They will face Trinity next weekend for a chance to set up a title match with Williams on Nov. 11. Full Story
