Amherst's Hannon Named NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week

AMHERST, MA – Amherst College senior wide-receiver Mark Hannon (Glen Rock, NJ) was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after racking up 158 all-purpose yards to lead the NESCAC in Week 1.
Hannon spent most of the day lined up at wide-out, where he had 7 receptions for 94 yards and a pair of impressive touchdowns, including a 39 yard score. Hannon also had double, and triple duty, on punting (2 punts) and punt returns, where he had an impressive 64 yard return to pay dirt.
Hannon currently leads the NESCAC in all-purpose yards-per-game with 158/gm, and is 2nd in receiving yards-per-game (94) and tied 3rd in receptions-per-game with seven.
