Dudzik and Carr-Harris Named to 2006 All-NESCAC Teams

November 8, 2006

AMHERST, MA – The Amherst College field hockey team wrapped up its season last weekend with a NESCAC tournament semifinal loss to host and eventual champion Bowdoin College. The conference named sophomore midfielder Alyssa Dudzik (Darien, CT) to its NESCAC All-Conference First Team, and gave senior co-captain midfielder Rachel Carr-Harris (Pleasantville, NY) a NESCAC All-Conference Second Team nod.

Dudzik made her first All-Conference team following what may have been a breakout year for the second year player. She dished out five assists and started all 16 games for the Lord Jeffs.

Carr-Harris - who also picked up Second Team All-NESCAC honors last year - was injured during the beginning of the season, but returned to tally two goals and an assist, in what was an exciting second half of the season for Amherst.
