NEW LONDON, CT – The third-ranked Amherst College women's tennis team blanked NESCAC rival No. 23 Connecticut College on Friday afternoon, improving to 6-2, while the Camels drop to 7-3.

The Jeffs swept each match in straight sets, the closest being a 6-4, 6-4 win by Amherst No. 1 senior tri-captain Kristen Raverta (W. Springfield, MA) over Camel junior Beret Remak. Sophomore Alicia Menezes posted a 6-0, 6-0 win for Amherst at the No. 3 spot.

Amherst returns to action on Sunday, April 9, at Middlebury College at 1 p.m.
