WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Amherst College women's soccer team secured the No. 2 seed and a first-round home game in the NESCAC Tournament with a 1-0 conference victory at Little Three archrival Williams College on Saturday. Junior midfielder Jenny Muller ( Andover , MA ) tallied the game-winner for the Jeffs, who finish the regular season at 8-3-2 overall and 6-2-1 in conference play.

Muller sealed the Ephs' fate at the 21:19-mark, taking a feed from classmate Lesley Pruzansky (Saratoga, CA) and stuffing it home. Amherst junior goalkeeper Piper Crowell (San Rafael, CA) was a stonewall in net, denying all nine Williams shots on goal.

Williams junior goalie Sarah Ginsburg (Dallas, TX) finished with eight saves in a losing effort as the Ephs close out their regular-season slate at 9-4-1 (5-3-1 NESCAC) and earn the No. 4 seed in the NESCAC Tournament.

Amherst is set to face seventh-seeded Colby College tomorrow (Sunday) at noon in the opening round of the NESCAC Tournament, with a trip to next weekend's semifinals at top-seeded Tufts University at stake.
