Jeffs Blanked at Bowdoin, 5-0
October 2 - The Amherst field hockey team fell victim to a five-goal first-half barrage en route to a lopsided 5-0 loss at Bowdoin College on Saturday. The Jeffs dropped to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play, while Bowdoin improved to 4-2 and 2-1. Full Story

Leydon's Hat Trick Leads Jeffs Past Mt. Holyoke, 3-0
September 29 - Senior forward Erin Leydon tallied a trio of scores to lead the Amherst field hockey team to a 3-0 victory over visiting non-conference foe Mt. Holyoke College on Wednesday. Sophomore midfielder Rachel Carr-Harris assisted on a pair of Leydon’s goals, giving her a team- and NESCAC-best six assists on the year as the Jeffs won their third straight and improved to 4-2. Jeffs Blank Bates, 4-0
September 26 - The Amherst field hockey team won its second game in as many days, blanking visiting conference rival Bates College on Sunday, 4-0. Senior forward Erin Leydon found the cage twice, while fellow senior Lauren Anderson and first-year Carolyn Shea each scored once as the Jeffs improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play. Skrivan, Carr-Harris Lead Jeffs Past Tufts, 2-1
September 25 - Sophomore Rachel Carr-Harris and junior Katherine Skrivan combined to tie the score in the second half and then win the game in the first extra session as the Amherst field hockey team evened its record at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play with a dramatic 2-1 overtime win over visiting NESCAC foe Tufts University on Saturday. Jeffs Fall at No. 12 Springfield, 2-0
September 23 - The Amherst field hockey team fell at 12th-ranked Springfield College on Wednesday night, 2-0. The Jeffs fought to a 0-0 halftime tie, but Springfield juniors Meg Bascetta and Sarah Brooker each scored a goal in the second half as the host Pride improved to 6-1, while Amherst fell to 1-2. Jeffs Win Home Opener, Blank Smith, 3-0
September 14 - The Amherst field hockey team blanked visiting non-conference foe Smith College 3-0 in its home opener on Tuesday. The Jeffs’ defense was stifling, not relinquishing a shot to the visiting Pioneers, while seniors Erin Leydon and Lauren Anderson and junior Molly Gilbert each tallied a goal for Amherst, which improves to 1-1 with the win. Jeffs Drop Season-Opener at Trinity, 5-3
September 11 - Despite a pair of goals by junior Katherine Skrivan and another from senior Erin Leydon, the Amherst field hockey team dropped its season- and conference-opener at NESCAC rival Trinity College, falling 5-3 on Saturday. Senior forward Jessica Baker and sophomore forward Erin Daly each scored twice for the host Bantams. Full Story

Six Seniors Primed to Lead Field Hockey Back to Postseason
September 8 - Seniors Emma Feinstein, Alicia Pichard and K.C. Cosentino spearhead the defense, while fellow seniors Tyler Kelly, Erin Leydon and Lauren Anderson lead the midfield and offensive units, as the Amherst field hockey team looks to improve on last year's impressive 11-5 record and No. 4 seed in the NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournament.
