Jeffs Win Eighth Straight, Defeat Tufts, 3-1
October 18 - The Amherst volleyball team earned its eighth consecutive win on Saturday, defeating host NESCAC rival Tufts University 3-1 (30-26, 24-30, 30-23, 30-22). Junior Nicole Davidson and first-year Kristin Quinn led the Jeffs attack with 17 and 16 kills, respectively. Full Story
Jeffs Win Seventh Straight, Blank Westfield State, 3-0
October 14 - The Amherst volleyball team improved to 20-3 with its seventh straight win on Tuesday - a lopsided 3-0 victory over visiting non-league foe Westfield State College. Game scores were 30-19, 30-14 and 30-13. Amherst rookie Ashley Pestotnik and sophomore Sara Bruggeman paced the offense with team highs of five kills each. Full Story
Volleyball Posts NESCAC Wins Over Wesleyan, Conn., Trinity
October 11 - The Amherst volleyball team improved to 19-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play with a trio of NESCAC wins over Wesleyan University, Connecticut College and host Trinity College on Friday and Saturday. Junior setter Annie Hoeksma dished out 90 assists in the trio of Amherst wins. Full Story

October 4 - After dropping its opening match to Springfield College 3-2 on Friday, the Amherst volleyball team rebounded to defeat Smith College, 3-0, and posted a pair of 3-1 wins over Trinity College and host Wesleyan University on Saturday at the Wesleyan Invitational. Full Story

Volleyball Falls To Williams, Blanks Middlebury, Hamilton at NESCAC Quad
September 20 - The Amherst volleyball team had a seven-match winning streak snapped with a 3-0 loss at Williams College on Friday night, but rebounded with a pair of 3-0 victories over Middlebury and Hamilton Colleges on Saturday, as part of a four-team NESCAC quad, hosted by Williams. September 17 - The Amherst volleyball team continued to roll on Wednesday, earning its seventh straight victory and improving to 7-1 with a 3-0 win over visiting non-league foe Keene State College. The Jeffs excelled on defense, getting six blocks from senior co-captain Lauren Wong, four from rookie Ashley Pestotnik and three each from first-year Kristin Quinn and sophomore Sara Bruggeman, while holding Keene St. to a -.046 hitting percentage. Jeffs Claim WNEC Invitational With Wins Over Plymouth St., Westfield St.
September 13 - Tournament MVP Annie Hoeksma dished out a combined 61 assists in wins over Plymouth State University and Westfield State College on Saturday as the Amherst volleyball team claimed the WNEC Invitational. The Jeffs, who improved to 6-1 with six consecutive wins to their credit, posted 3-0 victories over Mass. College and Pine Manor on Friday night to advance to Saturday’s championship round.

September 13 - The Amherst volleyball team posted 3-0 wins over Mass. College (30-3, 30-6, 30-11) and Pine Manor College (30-8, 30-8, 30-14) in Day 1 of the Western New England College Invitational Tournament on Friday night. Amherst will resume tournament play Saturday at 11 a.m. against Plymouth State. September 11 - Led by 17 kills and seven digs from junior Nicole Davidson, 13 kills and six blocks from first-year Kristin Quinn and a 48-assist outing from junior Annie Hoeksma, the Amherst Volleyball team improved to 2-1 with a 3-1 non-league win at Smith College on Thursday.
Jeffs Gain First Win, 3-0, at Mt. Holyoke
September 9 - Behind eight kills from first-year outside hitter Megan Ingraham and a five-kill, seven-block outing by fellow rookie Kristin Quinn, the Amherst volleyball team evened its record at 1-1 with a 3-0 (30-10, 30-14, 30-24) non-league win at Mt. Holyoke College on Tuesday night.
Jeffs Drop Season Opener at Western Connecticut
September 8 - The Amherst volleyball team dropped its season opener Sunday at non-league opponent Western Connecticut, 3-2. The Jeffs were victorious in their first two games, but Western rallied to the victory. Junior setter Annie Hoeksma paced the Lord Jeffs with 39 assists. Full Story
Lord Jeffs Seek 11th Consecutive Postseason Appearance
September 2 - Amherst returns a core group from last year's NESCAC runner-up squad. First-Team All-NESCAC selection junior Annie Hoeksma handles the setting duties again and is flanked by senior co-captains Jess Allen and Lauren Wong, along with the rest of the strong cast.
