Cross Country Teams Notch Top Performances at Panther Invitational
September 16 - The men's and women's cross country teams posted respective first- and second-place team finishes at Middlebury College's Panther Invitational on Saturday. Amherst junior John Stanton-Geddes paced the run for the men, taking home the individual first-place nod in 27:39.6. Full Story

Women Second, Men Third, at Season-Opening Amherst Invite
September 7 - Behind a runner-up finish by sophomore All-American Carter Hamill, the Amherst College women's cross country team opened its season with a second-place showing at the Amherst Invitational on Saturday. Amherst's men were similarly impressive, finishing third in the team standings thanks to junior John Stanton-Geddes' ninth-place finish. Full Story

Cross Country Eyes Return to Nationals
August 9 - With its top three runners from last year's seventh-place NCAA team returning, the future looks bright for Amherst women's cross country, and the men should be strong as well. Sophomore All-American Carter Hamill is a sure contender for the national championship title and should be pressed by senior All-American Martha Nelson. The men could emerge as one of the surprise teams in the region as they return nearly their entire roster. Full Story
