Head Coach Erik Nedeau

Entering his seventh season, head coach Erik Nedeau has rejuvenated the men's and women's cross country and track programs and consistently coached Amherst runners to personal records and higher levels of achievement. Since taking the reigns in 1995, Nedeau has coached multiple NCAA Champions, twenty-nine All-American performances, two Junior National medallists, and numerous New England, NESCAC and ECAC Champions. In fact, every runner to come through the program has left Amherst with a new personal best time in his or her respective event.

Nedeau utilizes a unique blend of knowledge and experience to push his programs to new heights. In addition to coaching, he has established himself as one of the top middle distance runners in the nation, earning a bronze medal in the World Championships in 1995 and competing at the Olympic Trials. He was also a five-time All-American at Division I Northeastern University and was recently inducted into Northeastern's Athletic Hall of Fame.
