Although originally from Ohio, it is unclear whether Kyle currently hails from Maryland or Texas. Many other things are also unclear about Kyle, including gender, whether his/her name is actually Beccie, what s/he is studying, and whether s/he is actually a tenor or an alto (a confusion which contributes significantly to questions about his/her gender). We do have concrete, empirical evidence on some things, however: we have observed that s/he has inexplicable tendencies to climb things, wear shorts all winter, and abscond with other people’s hats.
