Who are we?

"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit-just as you were called to one hope when you were called-one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:3-6)

The Amherst Christian Fellowship (ACF) has been a continuous presence on the Amherst College campus since 1981. We focus on what all Christians share in common, be they Protestant, Roman Catholic or Orthodox. The group seeks to foster spiritual growth and understanding amongst its members and to be an active expression of Christian faith, in action on campus and in the broader community. We do this by having regular Saturday Night meetings for worship and teaching, small group discussions and prayer times throughout the week, service and outreach projects on an ongoing basis as well as conferences and other special events. Since 1994, ACF has been an intentionally multiethnic fellowship with approximately 60% of its members being students of color. ACF is affiliated with the national campus ministry, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF).
