May 16 - The NESCAC announced today the members of the 2007 Baseball All-Conference Team. Three members of the Amherst college squad received a spot on the Second Team, marking the first All-NESCAC selection in each of their careers at Amherst. Full Story

May 12 - The Amherst College baseball team suffered a 6-3 loss to tournament host Williams College this morning, setting up an elimination game with Tufts University this afternoon. May 5 - The Amherst College baseball team picked up a pair of convincing wins over Hamilton College to increase its winning streak to six games and improve its record to 18-12. The Jeffs earned a 17-6 victory in the first game before winning the nightcap, 16-4. Full Story

April 29 - The Amherst College baseball team welcomed Saint Michael’s College for a pair of non-conference games on Sunday afternoon. The Jeffs pounded the Purple Knights 9-1 in the first game and squeaked out the second, 2-1. Full Story

April 28 - The Amherst College baseball team dropped a pair of games in a doubleheader at Trinity College this afternoon. The Jeffs dropped game one 3-0, before a rain delayed second game loss of 7-1. Full Story

April 24 - The Amherst College baseball team let one slip away this afternoon against Brandeis University, as the Lord Jeffs committed five errors in the game and surrendered eight runs in the top of the sixth inning en route to an 11-9 non-conference loss. Full Story

April 23 - The Amherst College baseball team pounded Springfield College pitching for 22 runs on 21 hits, improving to 12-9 with the 22-7 win. Senior Jared Banner and junior Neal Allar each had four hits and combined for eight RBIs. Full Story

April 21 - Senior Nick Kehoe fired a one-hitter to lead the Amherst College baseball team to a 2-1 victory over Middlebury College in the front end of a doubleheader. March 21 - The Amherst College baseball team rallied for 10 runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to knot the score 16-16, only to surrender a game-winning RBI single in the top of the 10th in a wild 17-16 loss to Babson College on Wednesday afternoon. Full Story

March 20 - The Amherst College baseball team got back on track today when they completed a lopsided doubleheader sweep of Fredonia State. Amherst won the early game by a score of 15-4, and completed the sweep with a 13-4 win in the nightcap. Full Story

Amherst Falls to St. Lawrence in Extra Innings to Move to 0-3
March 19 - The Amherst College baseball team dropped its third game in as many days, falling to St. Lawrence University in 10 innings, 2-1. Senior Nick Kehoe allowed only one run in six innings of work, but the Jeffs could not put together enough offense to earn their first win. Full Story

Amherst Ready to Reclaim NESCAC Crown in 2007
February 20 - This year's squad worked hard in the off-season to be prepared and in shape for the start of the season. The pitching staff returns depth and experience and there is strong competition to fill offensive and defensive vacancies left by last year’s talented senior class. After just barely missing the 2006 postseason, the Jeffs are primed for a return to the top of the NESCAC. Full Preview
