Meet Recap
Four men headed down to Princeton to compete against top competition at the Larry Ellis Invite. Daniel Murner, while hoping for a deeper field and potentially faster pace, still proved to be the toughest on the day as he blazed to a new school record time, and an NCAA provisional mark, of 30:43.33. He led the race through the first 4 miles, before settling in behind a pair of runners and then after hitting the 6 mile mark is 29:39 he took off from the pack and ran way with the win. Earlier in the evening, Will Yochum, Jimmy Swanson and Will Bell competed in the 1500. Yochum had the best finish of the trio as he ran to a new PR of 3:54.51, and qualified provisionally for NCAA's while Jimmy came in behind him in 3:56. Will ran in the next section, and came through with a new PR of 4:00.28. All three ran similar splits in their respective races - 62.7 / 2:06 and 3:09's through the 4,8 and 1200.
