HARTFORD, CT - The Amherst women's squash team fell 9-0 at national power Trinity College on Thursday. The host Bantams - ranked second in the nation in the latest Women's Intercollegiate Squash Association poll - swept all nine matches and dropped just one game overall en route to their seventh consecutive win.

Trinity senior co-captain and three-time All-American Amina Helal (Manchester, England) set the tone with a 9-1, 9-0, 9-0 win over Amherst no.1 K.C Giese (Ardmore, PA). Jeffs' first-year Emily Stark (Roanoke, VA) was the lone Amherst player to extend her match to four games, before falling to Trinity no. 8 Amanda Todd 6-9, 1-9, 9-7, 4-9.

Amherst dropped to 10-8 with the loss and returns to action on Saturday for the Little III Championships at Williams College, starting at 11 a.m.
