AMHERST, MA - The Amherst women's squash team faced an uphill battle against visiting Princeton University on Sunday, falling 9-0 at the Davenport Courts. The Tigers-ranked fourth nationally in the latest Women's Intercollegiate Squash Association poll-boast five of the top 40 collegiate players in the nation, including 2000 Intercollegiate Champion Julia Beaver, who downed Amherst no. 1 K.C. Giese 9-0, 9-1, 9-0.
Amherst (10-7)-ranked 12th by the WISA on Feb. 1-will travel to Trinity College for a 7 p.m. match on Thursday, Feb. 8.
