Amherst Women's Hockey 2000-01 Milestones
Team Accomplishments:
1) Finished seventh in the NESCAC with a 7-16-1 overall record (5-13 ECAC).


Individual Accomplishments:
1) Senior Forward Gretchen Bowe (Hampstead, NH/Phillips Exeter)
*Finished her career as the Jeffs' second all-time leading scorer with 76 goals, 84 assists and 160 points in four seasons as a starter.

*Amherst's third leading scorer in 2001 despite missing six games with knee and wrist injuries.


2) Sophomore Forward Danielle Williams (Needham, MA/Needham)
*Finished fifth in the NESCAC, sixth in the ECAC and led the Jeffs in scoring (23 goals, 15 assists & 38 points).

*Also finished third in the ECAC in goals (23), fourth in game-winning goals (4), 15th in assists (15) and 20th in power play points (1 goal, 5 assists & 6 points).


3) First-Year Forward Alison White (Brookline, MA/Brookline)
*Finished 11th in the NESCAC, 16th in the ECAC and second on the Jeffs in scoring (10 goals, 17 assists & 27 points).

*Also finished 6th in the ECAC in freshman scoring and 11th in assists (17).

*Named the ECAC/Louisville Division III Women's Hockey Player of the Week after leading Amherst to a pair of impressive home wins over Cortland State and M.I.T. during a 2-1 week for the Jeffs.


4) Junior Defender Hilary Zwerdling (Shrewsbury, MA/St. MarkÕs School)
*Tabbed NESCAC Winter All-Academic.
