The trio led the Jeffs to a third place finish at the Massachusetts State Championships and a ninth place finish at the Northeast Championships in their final two spring outings, en route to qualifying for the Division III NCAA Championships at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur, Illinois - a bid Amherst declined due to a conflict with final exams.
All three finished in the top-50 at the Northeast Championships, led by Gravel, who tied for 32nd with a two-day score of 90-89-179. Meanwhile, Ratner shot a 91-89-180 and Limpert fired a 102-91-193, including a career-best 40 on the front nine on Sunday for a season-best 91.
The Jeffs also shot a season-best 346 at the Massachusetts State Championships, where Ratner fired a scorching 83 to finish in fourth place individually. Gravel shot a similarly impressive 88 to finish 12th, while Limpert finished 22nd overall.
Earlier in the season, the trio led Amherst to fifth and eighth place finishes against a host of Division I competitors at the Hartford and Boston College Invitationals after opening their spring slate with a 374-366 dual-match win at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach Florida. The Jeffs will return their entire roster next fall under veteran head coach Michelle Morgan, including standout first-year Kathryn Kuchefsky (Wellesley, MA) and sophomore Kasarin Chakkaphak (New York, NY).
