in fourth place individually
AMHERST, MA - The Amherst College women's golf team shot a season-best 346 to finish in third place at the Massachusetts State Championships at the Orchards Golf Course on Friday. The Jeffs had three players shoot in the 80s, including junior Jaime Ratner (Liberty, NY), who fired a scorching 83 to finish in fourth place individually.

Meanwhile, Amherst first-year Kate Kuchefsky (Wellesley, MA) shot a similarly impressive 84 to finish right behind Ratner in fifth place, followed by sophomores Katie Gravel (Manchester, ME), Kasarin Chakkaphak (New York, NY) and Jeannie Limpert (Bethesda, MD) in 12th, 16th and 22nd place, respectively.

Harvard University won the team title with an overall score of 334, with Boston College in second place at 339 and Amherst in third.
