Jeffs Take Fourth at Skidmore Fall Classic

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - The Amherst College men's golf team shot a combined 312 on Wednesday to tie for fourth place overall at the Skidmore Fall Classic at McGregor Links.

Amherst sophomores Jude Volek (New York, NY) and Todd Ballaban (Thousand Oaks, CA) posted scores of 75 to finish in a four-way tie for sixth place with Will Sicks of Williams and Ross Morgan of eventual winner Skidmore.

Senior Mark Still (Devon, PA), sophomore Stephen Collins (Beverly Hills, MI) and junior Michael Blaisdel (South Strafford, VT) also fared well for the Jeffs, finishing in 25th, 35th and 52nd place, respectively, with scores of 80, 82 and 86.

The Amherst men's golf team returns to action this Saturday and Sunday at the Williams Invitational.
