Briody and Sweeney Named to IWLCA All-America Teams
May 30 - The IWLCA named the members of the 2007 Division III All-America Team yesterday. After receiving All-Region First Team honors last week, Amherst College senior quad-captain Alyssa Briody was named to the All-America First Team, while senior defender Emery Sweeney earned Third Team honors. IWLCA Names Six Lord Jeffs to All-Region Team
May 24 - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association named six members of the 2007 Amherst College team to the Berkshire All-Region team yesterday. With the award the six will be eligible for All-American status. Full Story

Briody Named to All-NESCAC First Team; Craig and Sweeney Earn Second Team Honors
May 9 - Amherst College seniors Alyssa Briody and Emery Sweeney and sophomore sensation Amy Craig were each named to a 2007 NESCAC All-Conference Team this afternoon. Briody, Amherst’s 2007 leading scorer, was named to the First Team for the second consecutive year, while Craig and Sweeney grabbed their first All-Conference honors with Second Team nods. Jeffs Fall to Colby College in Tight NESCAC Semifinal 10-8
May 5 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team fell to Colby College for the second time this spring in a very close NESCAC semifinal, 10-8. The game was a re-match from an April 28th regular season finale, which Colby won 11-6. The game was neck-and-neck the whole way, with Amherst leading late into the second half. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Roll Past Wesleyan in NESCAC Quarterfinals
April 29 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team rolled to a 13-5 win over Wesleyan University in its NESCAC Quarterfinal match-up. Amherst advances to face Colby in the semifinals next weekend. Full Story

Jeffs Fall to Colby in Regular Season Finale
April 28 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team fell in its final regular season game this morning to visiting 12th-ranked Colby College. Amherst will take on Wesleyan University Sunday in NESCAC quarterfinal action at noon in Middletown, CT. Full Story

Amherst Loses at Tufts in NESCAC Action, 13-7
April 24 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team dropped its fifth game of the season to NESCAC rival Tufts University this afternoon, 13-7. The Lord Jeffs drop to 8-5 on the year and 5-3 in NESCAC play. Full Story

Amherst Edged by Bowdoin, 11-10
April 21 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team came up just short against Bowdoin College, moving to 8-4 on the season with the 11-10 loss. The Lord Jeffs are 5-2 in the NESCAC with two conference games remaining. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Roll Over Wheaton, 20-2
April 18 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team needed less than 20 minutes to put the mercy rule into effect, as the Lord Jeffs cruised to a 20-2 victory over Wheaton College to move to 8-3 on the season. Full Story

Jeffs Rebound With Impressive 13-6 Win Over Williams
April 14 - The 6th-ranked Amherst College women's lacrosse team rebounded from back-to-back losses with an impressive 13-6 win at home over 8th-ranked Williams College. The Jeffs scored five unanswered goals mid-game to take a commanding lead. Full Story

April 12 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team failed to get back on the winning track, as the Jeffs fell to No. 12 Babson College in a back-and-forth non-conference battle. Full Story

April 7 - The Amherst College women's lacross team dropped a meeting of national powerhouses when they played host to Middlebury College this afternoon. The Panthers took an 11-3 result over Amherst. Full Story

Jeffs Outlast Trinity To Remain Unbeaten in NESCAC Play
April 4 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team picked up a 14-12 win over visiting Trinity College to move to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in NESCAC play. Senior quad-captain Alyssa Briody had a hand in eight goals, scoring three and assisting on five others. Full Story

April 2 - Amherst College sophomore Amy Craig was named the NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week for her dominating performances in the Lord Jeffs’ two wins on the road last week. Full Story

March 31 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team pulled out a 13-7 win at Conn. College this afternoon. The win moves Amherst to 5-1 on the year, and 3-0 in the NESCAC. Full Story

Jeffs Storm From Behind to Earn 7-6 Win Over Springfield
March 29 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team trailed host Springfield College 6-3 with only 14 minutes to play, but the Jeffs stormed back to earn a 7-6 win. Sophomore Amy Craig netted five goals for the second time in three games, including the final three goals of the game. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Earn Road Win to Stay Unbeaten in NESCAC
March 24 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team played to a 10-7 win at NESCAC rival Bates College this afternoon to improve to 3-1 on the year. The Jeffs sit atop the NESCAC leaderboard at 2-0 in conference play. Full Story

March 21 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team watched its five-goal halftime lead over Colorado College disappear in the second half, but managed to hold on for the 10-9 win.
