Jeffs Fall in Overtime of National Consolation Game
March 17 - The Amherst College women's hockey team came back from a 3-1 deficit to Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the National Consolation game to send the contest into overtime, but was unable to hold on for a third-place finish in the tournament. The 4-3 loss marks the first time all season the Jeffs have not been triumphant in an overtime game. Full Story

Amherst Falls Short of Trip to National Championship Game
March 16 - The Amherst College women's hockey team came incredibly close to handing Plattsburgh State its first loss of the season, but the Jeffs dropped a heartbreaker in the national semifinal game, 3-2. Amherst will take on Wisconsin-Stevens Point Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the national consolation game. Full Story

Elek and Plumer Add to Postseason Accolades
March 16 - The Amherst College women’s hockey team continues to be recognized for its amazing 2006-07 campaign, as head coach Jim Plumer is among the finalists for American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Women’s Ice Hockey Coach of the Year (Division III), while first-year goaltender Krystyn Elek has been named to the Division III RBK Women’s Hockey All-America Second Team by the AHCA. March 10 - The Amherst college women's hockey team kept its incredible season alive by defeating Rochester Institute of Technology 2-1 in the first round of the NCAA Championship Tournament. The Jeffs will face unbeaten Plattsburgh State in the national semifinals next weekend. Full Story

March 5 - Amherst College first-year goaltender Krystyn Elek was named NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week for her role in carrying the Lord Jeffs to their first NESCAC Championship Tournament title. Full Story

Amherst Wins Program's First NESCAC Crown in Triple Overtime Thriller at Middlebury, 2-1
March 4 - The Amherst College women's hockey team won its first ever NESCAC Championship this afternoon in a triple-overtime thriller over Middlebury. Amherst goaltender Krystyn Elek made 65 saves in the win. Full Story

Amherst Advances to NESCAC Championship Game with 3-2 Overtime Win Over Bowdoin
March 3 - The Amherst College women's hockey team trailed Bowdoin College 2-1 in the third period of the second NESCAC semifinal game of the afternoon but managed to send the game into overtime, where the Lord Jeffs struck first to advance to the conference championship game. March 1 - A trio of Amherst College women's hockey standouts were named to the NESCAC All-Conference First-Team this afternoon, including one at every position. The Jeffs also grabbed the Rookie of the Year, while Head Coach Jim Plumer was named the 2006-07 Conference Coach of the Year. Full Story

February 16 - The Amherst College women's hockey team picked up a road win this evening, beating Conn. College 2-0 to improve to 15-5-3 on the year. The squad will take tomorrow off before hosting SUNY-Cortland on Sunday. Full Story

February 10 - The Amherst College women's hockey team skated into overtime for the second time in as many days, defeating Williams College 5-4 for the first win against the Ephs in program history. Full Story

February 6 - The Amherst College women's ice hockey team outlasted the visiting Crusaders from Holy Cross this evening at Orr Rink. The 6-3 win moves the Lord Jeffs to 13-5-2 with just four games to play. Full Story

January 26 - The Amherst College women's hockey team defeated Trinity College 4-1 to increase its unbeaten streak to ten games. Amherst has not lost since Dec. 8, 2006. Full Story

January 17 - The Amherst College women's hockey team defeated the red hot Conn. College Camels this evening, 6-1. Amherst sophomore Tarasai Karega netted a hat trick in the second period alone. Full Story

January 13 - The Amherst College women's hockey team picked up its sixth consecutive win, defeating Wisconsin-River Falls 5-1 to improve to 9-4 on the season. Sophomore Tarasai Karega led the way for the Jeffs, scoring a goal in each of the three periods. Full Story

January 8 - The Amherst College women's ice hockey team won its fourth straight game this evening, defeating the Engineers of M.I.T. 7-1 on the road. Full Story

January 8 - Amherst College first-year goaltender Krystyn Elek was named NESCAC Player of the Week after leading the Lord Jeffs to shutout victories over conference foes Hamilton College and Trinity College. Full Story

Novermber 25 - The Amherst College women's hockey team beat Wesleyan 3-0 this afternoon in Middleton, Conn. in what was the first of two games between the rivals on back-to-back days. The two Little Three opponents will square off tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. at Wesleyan again. Full Story

Amherst Dominates Season Opener Against Colby
November 17 - The Amherst College women’s hockey team kicked off its season with a dominating 4-1 victory over visiting NESCAC opponent Colby College. Four different scorers lead the way for the Jeffs while rookie netminder Krysten Elek picked up her first career victory.
