May 11 - The Amherst College women's gofl team wrapped up action at the 2007 NCAA Division III National Championships this afternoon in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. The Lord Jeffs finished in 13th place after the fourth day of play. Full Story

Sarah Harper Receives Pair of NGCA Awards
May 11 - Amherst College senior captain Sarah Harper received Duramed FUTURES Tour NGCA Division III All-America Honorable Mention, and was one of 10 women named to the NGCA All-East Region Team. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Qualify for 2007 NCAA Division III National Tournament
May 2 - The Amherst College women's golf team received an at-large bid to the 2007 NCAA Division III National Tournament, to be played in Howey in the Hills, FL on May 18-20. Amherst was one of only nine schools hand-selected for this year's field. Full Story

Jeffs Finish 5th at Williams Coed Invitational
April 29 - The Amherst College men's and women's golf teams each played at the 2007 Williams Coed Invitaitonal this weekend. The Lord Jeff women placed 5th, with senior captain Sarah Harper finishing second individually. Full Story

Amherst Places Seventh at Jack Leaman Invitational; Harper Takes 8th
April 22 - The Amherst College women's golf team placed 7th at the 2007 Jack Leaman Invitational this afternoon at The Orchards in South Hadley, MA. Senior captain Sarah Harper finished in 8th place individually. Full Story

Amherst Shoots 347 at Day One of Jack Leaman Invite
April 21 - The Amherst College women's golf team shot a 347 on day one of the 2007 Jack Leaman Invitational at Hickory Ridge Golf Club. Play resumes tomorrow morning at The Orchards in South Hadley.

Lord Jeffs Finish Third at Massachusetts State Invitational
April 20 - The Amherst College women's golf squad shot a 355 to finish in third place at the 2007 Massacusetts State Invitational Tournament, hosted by Mt. Holyoke College. Senior captain Sarah Harper finished in fifth place individually with a three-back 82. Full Story

Jeffs Place Fourth at Vassar Invitational
April 14 - The Amherst College women's golf team placed fourth at a shortened Vassar Invitiational. The two-day tournament was moved to a one round event due to poor weather, with senior captain Sarah Harper nabbing a second place finish. Full Story

Amherst Finishes 8th at Jekyll Island Collegiate
March 25 - The Amherst College women's golf team opened its spring slate this weekend by finishing in 8th place at the 2007 Jekyll Island Collegiate in Georgia. Full Story

Jeffs Finish 4th at Wellesley Invite
October 16 - The Amherst College women's golf squad finished in fourth place at the Wellesley Invitational riding a tie in second place by senior captain Sarah Harper and first-year Kinne Schwartz. Full Story

Amherst Finishes Third, Harper Takes Individual Title at NESCAC Championships
October 8 - The Amherst College women's golf team finished in third place with a score of 360 at the 2006 NESCAC Championship Tournament, hosted by Williams College on Sunday. Senior captain Sarah Harper (Rochester, MN) shot a 77 to win the individual title. Full Story

September 25 - The Amherst College women's golf team finished 10th at the Mount Holyoke Invitational, played at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley over the weekend. Full Story

Jeffs Shoot 15th-Place Finish at Dartmouth Invitational
September 17 - The Amherst College women’s golf squad played well enough this weekend to finish 15th in a Dartmouth College Invitational field that included some of the Northeast’s most dominant programs. Harvard University won the tournament, played at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, N.H. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Reloaded and Ready to Swing Away
September 16 - The Amherst women’s golf team had an impressive 2005 season. The Jeffs improved in almost every tournament they went to; they placed 17th at the Dartmouth Invitational - the first tournament of the year - and improved to a fourth-place finish at the Wellesley Inviational to close out the fall slate. The Jeffs clearly put in their time at practice, and they hope to carry their momentum into this season as senior Sarah Harper leads the team in her second campaign as a captain. Full Story
