Swensen Named NESCAC Rookie of the Year; Reiff Grabs Second-Team Honors
February 28 - The NESCAC announced today the members of the 2006-07 women’s basketball All-Conference teams, with two members of the Amherst College squad receiving honors. First-year Samantha Swensen was named the Rookie of the Year, while junior Stefanie Reiff was placed on the Second Team. Full Story

February 17 - The 6th-seeded Amherst College women's basketball team fell to #3 Bates this afternoon in its quarterfinal match-up in Lewiston, ME. The 63-53 loss ends the Jeffs' season with a final record of 12-13. Full Story

Amherst Blows out Colby in Second Half to Move to 12-8
January 26 - The Amherst College women's basketball team beat the visiting White Mules of Colby College 80-57 this evening at LeFrak Gymnasium. Senior tri-captain Jenny Muller scored a game-high 21 points in the win. Full Story

January 23 - The Amherst College women's basketball team resumed their winning ways this evening by earning a road victory at Westfield State College. The Lord Jeffs picked up a 62-52 win riding a game-high 14 points by Stefanie Reiff. Full Story

January 16 - Four Lord Jeffs scored in double figures to lead Amherst to an 81-69 victory over Little Three rival Wesleyan University in a non-conference match-up at LeFrak Gymnasium. December 5 - The Amherst College women's basketball team trailed the Cougars of Clark University for just 90 seconds during the evening, and eventually pulled away to earn its fourth win of the season. With the victory, the Lord Jeffs have won three straight games. Full Story

December 4 - The Amherst College women’s basketball team completed a whirlwind weekend with two exciting wins, including one buzzer-beater to set the tone for the rest of the season.
