May 23 - After being named the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Senior Player of the Year on Friday, Amherst senior tri-captain Kristen Raverta finished as the national runner-up in the NCAA Division III women’s tennis singles tournament championship, hosted by the University of California at Santa Cruz Saturday through Tuesday. Jeffs Bow Out of NCAA Division III Tournament with 5-2 Quarterfinal Loss to Trinity
May 17 - The Amherst women’s tennis team bowed out of the NCAA Division III Tournament with a 5-2 quarterfinal loss to Trinity University at the University of California at Santa Cruz on Wednesday evening. Jeffs Win New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament
October 16 - The Amherst women's tennis team captured three-of-six
singles flights and two-of-three doubles flights as they won the New England
Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament, held at Mt. Holyoke College
over the weekend. The Jeffs posted a team score of 41 points, besting second-place

October 8 - The Amherst women's tennis team closed out its fall dual-match slate on Saturday with a 6-3 victory at Williams College. The Jeffs swept all three doubles tilts and took the top three singles matches to clinch the victory and improved to 4-0, while Williams dropped to 3-1. Full Story

Raverta and Menezes Win Doubles Championship at New England Wilson/ITA
Tournament; Raverta Reaches Singles Final
September 25 - Amherst senior co-captain Kristen Raverta teamed with sophomore Alicia Menezes to win the doubles title at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) New England Women's Tennis Championships, hosted by Bowdoin College over the weekend. Raverta also reached the final of the singles draw, where she fell to Middlebury College's top-seeded Amy Roche. Full Story
Jeffs Open Season with 9-0 Win at Wesleyan
September 14 - The Amherst
women's tennis team opened its season with a 9-0 shutout victory at Wesleyan
University on Wednesday. The Jeffs swept every match in both singles
and doubles play, including a 6-0, 6-0 win by Amherst junior Katie Hudson
over Wesleyan's Madalina Ursu at No. 4 singles.

September 12 - The Amherst women's tennis team posted yet another unbelievable season in 2004-05, finishing third at the NCAA Championships last spring with a final record of 12-3.
