Jeffs Post 17th-Place Finish at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, NH - The Amherst College women's golf team opened its fall slate with a 17th-place finish at the Dartmouth Invitational, played at the Hanover Country Club over the weekend. The Jeffs shot a two-day score of 389-375-764, led by junior co-captain Sarah Harper (Rochester, MN), who fired an 81-85-166 to tie for 41st overall.

Amherst sophomore Ali Berman (Boca Raton, FL) tied for 68th with a two-day total of 89-87-176, while seniors Melissa Sidman (Bethesda, MD) and Cally Wheeler (Gloucester, MA) placed 87th and 90th with scores of 99-99-198 and 120-121-241, respectively.

Columbia University topped the field with a 307-303-610, led by individual medalist Sara Ovadia, who fired a 74-74-148.

The Jeffs return to action next Saturday at the Mount Holyoke Invitational.
