FROM A TRINITY COLLEGE RELEASE
Senior Danny Babkes (Baltimore, MD) and classmate Josh Rilla (Westboro, MA) took the No. 1 doubles match, 8-6, but it was not enough to secure the doubles point as the Bantams won the No. 2 and 3 bouts. Mintz won at No. 3 singles over Jimmie Ames, 6-3, 6-2, and Lerner was victorious at No. 5 over David Yahng, 6-1, 6-1. However, Trinity won the rest of the singles matches in straight sets to secure the win.
Amherst returns to action Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Tufts University.
