AMHERST, MA – Having already been named First-Team All-NESCAC and New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) First-Team All-New England this spring, Amherst College senior men’s lacrosse quad-captain Andrew Wilcox (Brooklyn, NY) added to his list of postseason awards on Sunday, earning STX/United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Second-Team All-America honors.

This marks the second straight season that Wilcox has earned second-team national honors and the third consecutive postseason award from the USILA, as he was credited with honorable mention as a sophomore. A four-time All-NESCAC and three-time All-New England honoree, Wilcox paced the Jeffs in ground balls (65) and face-offs won (54) this spring.

Amherst finished at 4-10 overall and 3-6 in conference play this season, qualifying for the NESCAC Championship Tournament for the sixth straight season.
