February 17 - The Amherst men’s hockey team suffered a 4-2 defeat on Friday night at Williams College despite a monumental effort by Amherst junior netminder Josh Fillman who made 42 saves including 19 in the final frame. Amherst dropped to 12-10-1 overall and 9-8-1 in conference play while the Ephs improved to 14-6-2 overall (13-3-2 NESCAC/ECAC East). December 2 - The Amherst Men's hockey team was blanked at 15th
ranked Norwich University 7-0 on Friday night. Norwich used a four-goal
second period to power the victory. Junior goaltender Josh Fillman
made 37 saves in the loss as Amherst fell to 3-2
overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Norwich improved to 2-2-1
overall (2-0-1 ECAC East).

Jeffs Take Spurrier Tournament Title with 3-2 Overtime
Win at Wesleyan
November 27 - First-year Rylan Burns notched his third
goal of the weekend 3:14 into overtime to give the Amherst men's hockey
team a 3-2 victory over host Wesleyan University in the championship
game of the Spurrier Tournament on Sunday. Amherst improved to 3-1
overall with its second win over the Cardinals this season, while Wesleyan
dropped to 1-3.
