Jeffs Tie for 22nd at 71st Annual NEIGA Championship

BREWSTER, MA - The Amherst College men's golf team closed out its fall campaign on Tuesday posting a tie for 22nd-place at the 71st Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship, hosted by Salem State College. The Jeffs shot a two-day total of 327-326-653, led by junior Sean Jules (Chicago, IL), who fired a 78-79-157 to tie for 42nd overall.

Amherst junior Drew Russ (Maui, HI) tied for 78th with a two-day total of 85-76-161, while rookie Glen Wong (Leverett, MA) tied for 92nd with a 79-84-163. Sophomore Jesse Corradi (Cold Spring, NY) fired an 86-87-173 to tie for 165th and senior co-captain David Litt (Bethesda, MD) rounded out the scoring for the Jeffs with an 85-92-177 to place 193rd.

The University of Rhode Island topped the 45-team field with a 295-297-592, while the University of Connecticut's Jason Parajeckas (Woburn, MA) took home individual medalist honors, firing a 69-70-139.
