April 19 - The Amherst men’s golf team finished in a tie for 13th-place at the 33rd Annual Lou Flumere Invitational, hosted by Bentley College at the Stow Acres Country Club in Stow, Mass. on Wednesday. Junior Andy Bruns and rookie Chris Valentine paced the Jeffs with matching rounds of 79 to tie for 21st place. Full Story

October 19 - The Amherst College men's golf team closed out its fall campaign on Tuesday posting a tie for 22nd-place at the 71st Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship, hosted by Salem State College. The Jeffs shot a two-day total of 327-326-653, led by junior Sean Jules, who fired a 78-79-157 to tie for 42nd overall. Full Story

October 5 - The Amherst men's golf team closed out its fall campaign on Wednesday, posting a seventh-place finish at the Skidmore Fall Classic Tournament, hosted by Skidmore College . October 2 - Amherst junior Sean Jules fired a two-day total of 76-75-151, tying for fifth individually, and leading the Amherst men's golf team to a sixth-place finish at the NESCAC Championships, hosted by Williams College over the weekend. September 18 - The Amherst men's golf team opened its season with a 17th-place finish at the 22nd annual Duke Nelson Invitational, hosted by Middlebury College over the weekend. The Jeffs shot a two-day score of 325-329-654, led by junior Sean Jules (Chicago, IL), who fired an 76-82-158 to tie for 53rd overall. Full Story

Sharaf Tabbed GCAA/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar

May 16 - Amherst senior men's golfer Justin Sharaf was named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA)/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar for the second straight season. Sharaf, a two-year captain, was one of just two men's golfers from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) to earn All-America Scholar honors, along with Williams College's Matthew Slovitt.
