Tickets Now On Sale For NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Sectional at Amherst

AMHERST, MA – As one of four schools to host an NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Sectional this Friday and Saturday, Amherst College will be selling tickets for the games all this week. Presale tickets will be available in the Amherst Athletics Center Tuesday-Thursday from 2-4 p.m., and doors will open on Friday and Saturday 90 minutes prior to gametime. Tickets will be $7 for adults and $4 for children, senior citizens and students with valid ID (children under 2 are free). No telephone or e-mail orders will be accepted. Amherst will have 700 tickets available to its community, while each of the other three institutions will be allotted 230 tickets each. All tickets not presold will be available at the door on Friday. Contact the appropriate athletic department for further information.

All games will be broadcast live on the Internet by D3Hoops.com. Sports Stars Radio Network out of Utica, N.Y. will broadcast Friday’s first game, while the Amherst vs. Tufts matchup will be made available on the Internet by WAMH and JumboCast.

The other three sectionals will be hosted by Lawrence University, Virginia Wesleyan University and Wittenberg College. The winners from each sectional will move on to the Final Four, to be played Friday and Saturday, March 17-18, at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
