2003-04 Amherst Women's Hockey Milestones
TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- At 13-12 overall (7-9 NESCAC), posted the first winning season in school history, set a school record for wins in a season and earned the No. 5 seed in the NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournament, where they fell to fourth-seeded Hamilton College, 6-1, in the quarterfinals.
INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Senior Forward Ali White (Brookline, MA)
- Tied for 16th in the NESCAC in goals (11), tied for 17th in scoring (23 pts.), tied for 20th in assists (12).
Sophomore Forward Renee Sisti (Coventry, CT)
- NESCAC Player of the Week for the period ending January 18, with two goals and three assists in a pair of victories over St. Michael’s College and New England College.
- Tied for 20th in the nation in power-play goals (4).
- Tied for second in the NESCAC in power-play goals (4), tied for fifth in power-play points (8), tied for sixth in game-winning goals (3), tied for 10th in goals (14), 12th in scoring (26 pts.), tied for 20th in assists (12).
Sophomore Defender Amanda Mattei (Windsor, CT)
- NESCAC Winter All-Academic.
Sophomore Forward Leah Kaplan (Buffalo, NY)
- Tied for 13th in the NESCAC in game-winning goals (2).
First-Year Defender Rachel Simon (West Orange, NJ)
- Second-Team All-NESCAC.
- Third in the NESCAC in defenseman scoring (22 pts.), tied for sixth in game-winning goals (3), tied for seventh in power-play goals (7), tied for 10th in goals (14), tied for 17th in power-play points (4), 19th in scoring (22 pts.).
First-Year Defender Meghan Dickoff (Minnetonka, MN)
- Sixth in the NESCAC in defenseman scoring (14 pts.), tied for seventh in power-play goals (7), tied for 11th in power-play points (5), tied for 13th in game-winning goals (2).
First-Year Defender Emily Cronin (Arlington, MA)
- Tied for 13th in the NESCAC in game-winning goals (2).
First-Year Goaltender Lindsay Grabowski (Princeton, NJ)
- Fifth in the NESCAC in goals against average (3.52), sixth in winning percentage (.520), seventh in save percentage (.871).
