Jeffs Post 0-0 Stalemate at Colby

WATERVILLE, ME - Amherst College sophomore Lindsay Grabowski (Princeton, NJ) posted her first shutout of the season as the Jeffs played NESCAC host Colby College to a 0-0 women’s hockey stalemate on Friday night. Amherst moves to 3-5-5 (3-4-3 NESCAC) after tying the Mules for the second time this season.

Grabowski was credited with 16 stops, highlighted by a clutch kick-save with just five ticks left in the extra session. Colby first-year netminder Genevieve Triganne (Point-Claire, Quebec) collected 22 saves for the Mules, who move 3-6-2 overall and 2-4-2 in NESCAC play.

Amherst returns to action tomorrow (Saturday) at 3 p.m. at seventh-ranked NESCAC foe Bowdoin College.
