NORTHAMPTON, MA - Twelve of the 15 players on Amherst's roster scored in Wednesday night's lopsided 64-32 women's basketball win at non-league foe Smith College. Junior guard Krissy Morin (Litchfield, NH) led the way with a game-high 13 points as the Jeffs upped their record to 5-2. Smith dropped to 4-3 with the loss.

Amherst outrebounded Smith 55-40, including a 22-9 margin on the offensive glass, and forced the Pioneers into 25 turnovers. Rookie forward Matia Kostakis (Andover, MA) paced the Jeffs on the boards with a game-high 10 caroms. She was also one of five Amherst players to finish with six points in the game, along with fellow first-years Khalilah Licorish (Gaithersburg, MD) and Shaina Pollack (Great Neck, NY), sophomore Jenny Muller (Andover, MA) and junior Katie Latham (Wakefield, MA). Sophomore Kim Glazier (Boxford, MA) chipped in with nine points off the bench.

Amherst returns to action Saturday at 4 p.m. against visiting non-league foe Clark University.
