14th-Ranked Jeffs Blank Wesleyan, Fall to No. 10 Williams in Little Three Championships

AMHERST, MA - The 14th-ranked Amherst College men's squash team swept visiting Wesleyan University 9-0, but fell to 10th-ranked Williams College 8-1 in the Little Three Championships on Saturday. Amherst senior co-captain Brian Lawrence (Concord, MA) was the lone Jeff to win both of his individual matches, topping Wesleyan senior Thanadon Chantaralawan (Bangkok, Thailand) 9-4, 9-0, 9-1, and downing Williams senior Todd Herlihy (Brooklyn, NY) 9-6, 9-6, 9-4. Amherst forced the Ephs to five games in five different matches, but couldn’t pull out the victory, falling to 6-7 on the season.

Amherst returns to action Monday at 6 p.m. against visiting third-ranked Yale University.
