Mathur Finishes Second in Molloy Division Consolation at CSA Men's Championships
March 7 - Amherst sophomore Auloke Mathur reached the Molloy Division Consolation Championship match at the College Squash Association (CSA) Menís Championships, hosted by Dartmouth College over the weekend. Full Story

Jeffs Upend Navy, Hobart, Fall to Williams at CSA Team Championships
March 2 - The 14th-ranked Amherst men's squash team (8-9) finished 11th at the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championships, hosted by Harvard University over the weekend. Playing in the Hoehn Division for teams ranked ninth through 16th in the country, the Jeffs topped 11th-ranked Navy 8-1 in the opening round, and following a 9-0 loss to No. 10 Williams College, rebounded to defeat 13th-ranked Hobart College, 6-3. 14th-Ranked Jeffs Fall to Visiting Third-Ranked Yale
February 14 - The Amherst menís squash team fell to visiting third-ranked Yale University on Monday night, 9-0. Senior co-captain Gifford Sommerkamp and sophomores Peter Hatfield and Stu Landesberg each forced four-game matches as the Jeffs fell to 6-8. Full Story

14th-Ranked Jeffs Blank Wesleyan, Fall to No. 10 Williams in Little Three Championships
February 12 - The 14th-ranked Amherst men's squash team swept visiting Wesleyan University 9-0, but fell to 10th-ranked Williams College 8-1 in the Little Three Championships on Saturday. Amherst senior co-captain Brian Lawrence was the lone Jeff to win both of his individual matches as they moved to 6-7 on the season. Full Story

14th-Ranked Jeffs Blank MIT, Northeastern
February 8 - The 14th-ranked Amherst men's squash team blanked host MIT 9-0 last Wednesday and disposed of visiting Northeastern University in similar fashion, 9-0, on Saturday, improving to 5-6 on the year. Full Story

14th-Ranked Jeffs Suffer 9-0 Loss to No. 7 Princeton
January 31 - The 14th-ranked Amherst men's squash team suffered a 9-0 loss to No. 7 Princeton University at Williams College on Sunday. Senior Brian Lawrence and Andrew Slutsky were the lone Jeffs to steal a game from the Tigers as Amherst fell to 3-6. Full Story

14th-Ranked Jeffs Drop to 3-5 with Losses at No. 6 Cornell, No. 12 Hobart
January 22 - The 14th-ranked Amherst men's squash team dropped to 3-5 on the season with a 9-0 loss at sixth-ranked Cornell University on Friday night and a narrow 5-4 loss at No. 12 Hobart College on Saturday morning. Full Story

14th-Ranked Jeffs Bow at No. 8 Dartmouth
January 19 - The 14th-ranked Amherst menís squash team fell at eighth-ranked Dartmouth College 7-2 on Wednesday. Amherst senior Brian Lawrence won his third straight match as the Jeffs dropped to 3-3, while Dartmouth improved to 6-3. Full Story

January 18 - The 14th-ranked Amherst menís squash team fell to visiting 13th-ranked Brown University 6-3 on Tuesday. Amherst first-year Mark Rapisarda, sophomore Stu Landesberg and senior Brian Lawrence earned the lone wins for the Jeffs, who dropped to 3-2 with the loss. Full Story

January 15 - The 14th-ranked Amherst menís squash team suffered its first loss of the season, 9-0, at the fourth-ranked University of Pennsylvania on Saturday morning, but rebounded to blank the University of Washington later that afternoon. Full Story

December 10 - The 14th-ranked Amherst menís squash team opened its 2004-05 slate with a decisive 6-3 win at 15th-ranked Bowdoin College on Saturday. Seniors Michael Strong, Brian Lawrence and Gifford Sommerkamp, sophomores Auloke Mathur and Stu Landesberg and first-year Mark Rapisarda each posted match wins for the Jeffs. December 6 - Ranked 14th in the latest College Squash Association Menís Team Rankings, Amherst remained undefeated with a convincing 8-1 win over visiting 21st-ranked Tufts University on Friday night. Seniors Brian Lawrence, Gifford Sommerkamp and Ted Platt, sophomores Peter Hatfield, Auloke Mathur and Stu Landesberg and first-year Mark Rapisarda each posted match wins for the Jeffs, who improved to 2-0. Jeffs Set for 2004-05 Season
November 5 - The Amherst men's squash team is ready for the 2004-05 season after finishing last year's campaign 10-9 and ranked 13th in the nation. The Jeffs return eight of their top nine players, highlighted by seniors Michael Strong and Gifford Sommerkamp and sophomore Auloke Mathur. Full Story
