Sharaf Tabbed GCAA/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar
May 16 - Amherst senior men’s golfer Justin Sharaf was named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA)/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar for the second straight season. Sharaf, a two-year captain, was one of just two men’s golfers from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) to earn All-America Scholar honors, along with Williams College’s Matthew Slovitt. Jeffs Close Regular Season with Second-Place Finish at Little Three Championships
April 27 - The Amherst men’s golf team wrapped up its regular-season slate with a second-place finish at the Little Three Championships, hosted by Williams College on Wednesday. Amherst junior David Litt and sophomore Andy Bruns swept their singles matches, while senior captain Justin Sharaf and rookie Jesse Corradi teamed to win a pair of alternate-shot matches as the Jeffs topped Wesleyan University 11 ½-½, but fell to Williams 8-4. Jeffs 10th at District One Shootout
April 25 - The Amherst men’s golf team finished 10th at the District One Shootout, hosted by Williams College at Taconic Golf Course over the weekend, firing a two-day total of 320-320-640. Senior captain Justin Sharaf led the Jeffs, tying for 18th individually with a 76-78-154. Full Story
Jeffs 11th at Palamountain Invitational
April 19 - The Amherst men’s golf team shot a two-day score of 330-338-668 to finish 11th at the 19th-Annual Joseph C. Palamountain Invitational, hosted by Skidmore College at the Saratoga Spa State Park Course and McGregor Links on Sunday and Monday. Senior captain Justin Sharaf fired a 79-81-160 to pace the Jeffs and tie for 19th individually. Full Story
Litt Leads Jeffs to Season-Opening Sixth-Place Showing at Lou Flumere Invitational
April 15 - Junior David Litt shot a season-opening round of 74 and finished second individually to lead the Amherst men’s golf team to a sixth-place showing at the 32nd-Annual Lou Flumere Invitational, hosted by Bentley College at the Stow Acres Country Club in Stow, Mass. on Thursday. Full Story

April 4 - The Amherst men’s golf team was set to open its spring slate this Wednesday (Apr. 6) at the Lou Flumere Invitational, hosted by Bentley College, but the tournament has been postponed until Thursday, Apr. 14. Full Schedule
Jeffs 29th at NEIGA Championships
October 20 - In its final tournament of the fall campaign, the Amherst men’s golf team, paced by sophomore Sean Jules and junior Keith Zalaski, tied Salem State College for 29th place out of 46 schools with a team total of 336-331-667 at the 70th Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships, held at the Captains golf course in Brewster, Massachusetts on Monday and Tuesday. Jeffs Fourth at NESCAC Championships, Seventh at Duke Nelson Invitational
September 26 - The Amherst men’s golf team shot a two-day score of 323-318-641, finishing fourth at the NESCAC Championships and seventh at the Duke Nelson Invitational, played concurrently at Middlebury College’s Ralph Myhre Golf Course over the weekend. Sophomore Sean Jules paced the Jeffs with a 76-79-155, while senior captain Justin Sharaf followed closely, firing a 79-78-157. Full Story
Jeffs 14th at Williams Invitational
September 20 - The Amherst men’s golf team shot a 327 and finished tied for 14th overall at the Williams Invitational, hosted by Williams College at the Taconic Golf Course over the weekend. Senior captain Justin Sharaf led the Jeffs with a round of 39-40-79, good for 26th place, while the University of Rochester took home the team title with a score of 303. Full Story
Jeffs Ninth at Season-Opening Northeast Preview Tournament
September 16 - Senior Justin Sharaf shot a stellar 73-75-148 to place third overall as the Amherst men’s golf team opened its fall slate with a ninth-place finish at the 2004 Northeast Preview Golf Tournament, hosted by Skidmore College, at the Saratoga Spa State Park Course (Par 72) in Saratoga Springs, NY over the weekend.
