Jeffs 10th at District One Shootout

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Amherst College men’s golf team finished 10th at the District One Shootout, hosted by Williams College at Taconic Golf Course over the weekend, firing a two-day total of 320-320-640. Senior captain Justin Sharaf (Danvers, MA) led the Jeffs, tying for 18th individually with a 76-78-154.
Amherst sophomore Andy Bruns (Eaton, OH) came in 37th, shooting an 81-78-159, while junior David Litt (Bethesda, MD) fired an 80-82-162, good for 44th. Sophomore Sean Jules (Chicago, IL) finished 53rd and junior Keith Zalaski (Simsbury, CT) claimed 58th, posting respective rounds of 83-82-165 and 84-85-169. Rookie Jesse Corradi (Cold Spring, NY) took home 60th with an 87-85-172.
Williams’ Kevin Kellert and Matt Slovitt tied for first-place with rounds of 75-71-146 and 76-70-146, respectively, as the Ephs earned the team title with a two-day mark of 304-289-593.
Amherst returns to action Wednesday at the Little Three Championships, hosted by Williams College.
