Jeffs Second at Massachusetts State Invitational, Seventh at Northeast Championships
April 25 - The Amherst women’s golf team took second place at the Massachusetts State Invitational, hosted by Mt. Holyoke College at the Hickory Ridge Country Club on Friday, and nabbed seventh place at the Northeast Championships, held at Hickory Ridge on Saturday and the Orchards Golf Club on Sunday. Jeffs Second at Wellesley Invitational
April 18 - The Amherst women’s golf team took second place at the 2004 Wellesley Spring Golf Invitational, held at the Neihoden Golf Course in Wellesley, Massachusetts on Saturday and Sunday. Junior captain Meg Sullivan shot a two-day score of 91-84-175, while senior Kathryn Kuchefski finished just behind her, shooting 92-84-176, good for fourth and fifth places, respectively. Full Story

Jeffs 11th at Boston College Lady Eagle Invitational
April 4 - The Amherst women’s golf team braved tough weather conditions for an 11th-place finish at the ninth-annual Lady Eagle Invitational, hosted by Boston College at The Ridge Club on Friday and Saturday, shooting a two-day score of 379-354-733. Senior Kathryn Kuchefski led the Jeffs with an 88-86-174, good for 37th place overall. Full Story

Jeffs Finish Second at Paradise Valley CC Invitational
March 17 - The Amherst women’s golf team shot a team score of 318-319-637 at the Paradise Valley Community College Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, good for second place. Amherst senior Kathryn Kuchefski shot a team-best 73-77-150, while first-year Sarah Harper bettered her collegiate-best round from Monday with a 79-73-152. Full Story

Amherst Women's Golf Tied for First After First Day at Paradise Valley CC Invitational
March 16 - The Amherst women’s golf team shot a team score of 318 on the first day of competition at the Paradise Valley Community College Invitational on Monday, good for a first-place tie with Columbia University. Amherst senior Kathryn Kuchefski finished the opening round in first place with a career-best 73, while junior captain Meg Sullivan and first-year Sarah Harper shot collegiate-bests as well with rounds of 78 and 79, respectively. Kuchefski Wins Second Straight Tournament; Jeffs Finish Fourth at Central Conn. St. Invitational
October 13 - Senior Kathryn Kuchefski finished first individually and led the Amherst women’s golf team to fourth-place team showing at the Central Connecticut St. University Women’s Golf Invitational, held at Stanley Golf Course on Friday and Saturday. Kuchefski earned her second consecutive tournament victory with a two-day score of 75-81-156. Full Story

Jeffs Win Wellesley Invitational
October 6 - The Amherst women’s golf team won the Wellesley Invitational, hosted by Wellesley College at Nehoiden Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday, led by senior Kathryn Kuchefski’s first place finish. The Jeffs’ two-day score of 338-334-672 was a dominating 46 strokes better than second place Wellesley College. Full Story

Jeffs Third At Mt. Holyoke Invitational
September 29 - The Amherst women’s golf team tied for third place at the Mt. Holyoke Invitational, hosted by Mt. Holyoke University at The Orchards on Saturday. Senior Kathryn Kuchefski tied for 11th place with a team-low 86 to pace the Jeffs, while junior Emily Foran and first-year Sarah Harper shot matching rounds of 87 to tie for 15th. Full Story

Jeffs Sixth At Bryant Invitational
September 23 - The Amherst women’s golf team tied for sixth place with a two-day total of 349-347-696 at the Bryant Invitational hosted by Bryant University at Beaver River Country Club on Sunday and Monday. Senior Kathryn Kuchefski shot a team-low 82-83-165 to finish 14th and pace the Jeffs. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Ninth At Season-Opening Dartmouth Invitational
September 15 - The Amherst women’s golf team shot a two-day total of 676, good for ninth place at the Dartmouth Invitational at Hanover Country Club over the weekend. Junior captain Meg Sullivan's score of 167 led the Jeffs. Princeton University won the tournament with a score of 599, besting second place Boston College by 27 strokes. Full Story

Women's Golf Set For Return To the Links
September 3 - Amherst hopes to repeat an oustanding performance this fall as they prepare for their opening match Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Dartmouth Invitational. Junior captain Meg Sullivan leads the Lord Jeffs, joined by senior Kate Kuchefski and junior Emily Foran. Foran finished fourth at the 2002 NCAA Championship Tournament. Full Story
