Jeffs Rebound With 7-2 Win at MIT

CAMBRIDGE, MA - The Amherst College men’s squash team rebounded from a pair of losses to Ivy League powers Penn and Brown with a decisive 7-2 win at 18th-ranked MIT on Wednesday. The host Engineers posted a pair of wins at the top of the draw, but Amherst swept the remaining seven matches, all by 3-0 scores, to improve to 4-3 on the season.
Amherst junior Asad Haque (Richmond Hill, Ontario) posted the afternoon’s most convincing win, downing MIT’s Tim Lee 9-0, 9-1, 9-1.
The 11th-ranked Jeffs return to action Friday at 5 p.m. at Cornell University.
