Amherst Places Three on ECAC Men's & Women's Lacrosse All-Star Teams
June 2 - Amherst womenís lacrosse standouts Abby Ouimet and Liz Martin and menís lacrosse rookie midfielder Andrew Wilcox were each named Division III New England All-Stars by the ECAC this week. Martin, a junior midfielder, and Ouimet, a senior attacker, were both first-team selections after leading the Jeffs to their first-ever NCAA Division III National Championship. Wilcox, a Second-Team All-ECAC pick, made an immediate splash in the midfield, pacing the Jeffs with 61 ground balls and earning First-Team All-NESCAC honors. Full Story

Donohue, Allison Named NEILA Division III All-Stars
May 19 - After leading the Jeffs to a 10-5 overall record and the No. 4 seed in the NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournament, Amherst menís lacrosse players Greg Donohue and Mike Allison were named Division III All-Stars by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA). Full Story

Amherst Places Nine on Men's, Women's Lacrosse All-NESCAC Teams
May 8 - Amherst placed a combined nine players on the respective NESCAC teams for menís and womenís lacrosse, which were announced by the conference office on Thursday. For the men, junior midfielder Mike Allison and rookie midfielder Andrew Wilcox were first-team selections, while senior attacker Chris Condlin and sophomore defenseman Greg Donohue were second-team all-conference picks. Jeffs Season Ends with 14-8 Loss at Top-Ranked Middlebury in NESCAC Semifinals
May 3 - The fourth-seeded Amherst men's lacrosse team was downed, 14-8, at top-ranked Middlebury College Saturday afternoon in the NESCAC Tournament Semifinals. With the loss, the Jeffs season comes to an end at 10-5 overall, while the Panthers improve to 13-1 and will meet either Tufts University or Wesleyan University Sunday at noon in the championship game. Jeffs Oust Williams in NESCAC Quarterfinals, 12-9
April 27 - After closing the regular season with an 8-6 loss at Williams College on Saturday, the fourth-seeded Amherst menís lacrosse team faced their archrivals again on Sunday and rebounded with a decisive 12-9 win over the fifth-seeded Ephs in the first round of the NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournament. With the win, the Jeffs move on to the NESCAC semifinals, where theyíll face top-seeded host Middlebury College - which drew a first-round bye - on Saturday. Full Story

Jeffs Drop Regular Season Finale to Williams, 8-6
April 26 - The Amherst men's lacrosse team concluded the regular season with an 8-6 loss at NESCAC and Little Three foe Williams College on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Jeffs drop to 9-4 overall and 6-3 in conference play. Amherst earned the fourth seed in the NESCAC Postseason Tournament and will look to avenge today's loss when they host fifth-seeded Williams Sunday at 1 p.m. Full Story

Jeffs Outlast Conn. College, 7-6
April 22 - The Amherst men's lacrosse team improved to 9-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play with a 7-6 victory over visiting Connecticut College Tuesday afternoon at Hitchcock Field. Junior midfielder Mike Allison tallied three goals to lead the Jeffs, while senior Cushing Donelan was stellar in net, turning aside 13 Camel shots. Full Story

Allison and Ouimet Earn NESCAC Men's, Women's Lax Player of the Week Honors
April 22 - Amherst swept NESCAC Player of the Week honors in men's and women's lacrosse on Monday after each team finished 2-0 on the week. Senior attacker Abby Ouimet won the award on the women's side, combining for six goals and six assists in wins over Springfield College and conference-rival Bowdoin. Junior attackman Mike Allison claimed the men's award with seven goals and an assist in conference wins over Tufts University and Bowdoin. Full Story
