Entering his eighth season, head coach Erik Nedeau has rejuvenated the men's and women's cross country and track programs and consistently coached Amherst runners to personal records and higher levels of achievement. Since taking the reigns in 1995, Nedeau has coached a trio of NCAA Champions, 33 All-America performances, two Junior National medalists, and numerous New England, NESCAC and ECAC Champions. In addition to coaching, "Ned" has established himself as one of the top middle distance runners in the nation, earning a bronze medal in the World Championships in 1995 and competing at the Olympic Trials.
