September 23, 2002

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA The Amherst College men's golf team fell victim to heavy rains and tough competition over the weekend at the Williams College Invitational, drawing a 15th-place overall finish. Amherst senior co-captain Todd Ballaban (Thousand Oaks, CA) led the way for the Jeffs, shooting 36-39-75 for a 28th-place individual finish. Senior co-captain Jude Volek (New York, NY) followed with a 39th-place, 37-39-76 showing, and sophomore Justin Sharaf (Danvers, MA) reeled in a 47th-place mark with a 37-40-77 weekend.
