Jeffs Second to Williams at Little Three Championships

MIDDLETOWN, CT -Amherst took home second place at the Little Three Menís Golf Championships, held at Wesleyan University on Wednesday afternoon. Williams College claimed its fifth consecutive team title, while host Wesleyan finished at the bottom of the pack.

Sophomore sharpshooter Mike Valentine (Topsfield, MA) paced the Jeffs with singles wins against both Wesleyan and Williams. He was the only Amherst player to do so. Valentine and rookie long-ball specialist Keith Zalaski (Simsbury, CT) also teamed for a 2-1 alternate-shot win against Wesleyan.
