Senior Cara Coscarelli won two of three matches at the Howe Cup

NEW HAVEN, CT - The 11th-ranked Amherst women's squash team placed 11th out of 28 teams in the three-day Hope Cup held Friday through Sunday at Yale University. Jeff senior Lindsey Snyder (Narberth, PA) and first-year Mara Alcaly (New York, NY) each posted convincing victories in all three of their matches. On Friday, the Jeffs downed Wellesley College, 8-1, and returned Saturday falling to the University of Pennsylvania, 7-2, before rebounding on Sunday to defeat St. Lawrence University, 6-3.

Amherst senior Cara Coscarelli (West Hartford, CT), junior Susanna Burke (St. Louis, MO) and sophomore Emily Stark (Roanoke, VA) each won two of three matches to help the Jeffs improve to 13-8 on the season.
