NORTHAMPTON, MA - The 10th-ranked Amherst College women's squash team, fresh off a 9-0 shutout loss at the hands of second-ranked Trinity College on January 23rd, turned the tables at 27th-ranked Smith College Tuesday night, blanking the Pioneers, 9-0, without dropping a game. With the win, the Jeffs improved to 9-5 on the season, while the Pioneers fell to 3-13.

The Jeffs return to action on Thursday, hosting Wellesley College on the Davenport Courts at 7 p.m. Wellesley is ranked 13th in the Women's Intercollegiate Squash Association (WISA) with an 11-1 record. The Blue shut out Smith last weekend en route to winning the Seven Sisters Championship Tournament for the third consecutive time.
