No. 10 Jeffs Fall to Eighth-Ranked Dartmouth, 8-1January 16, 2002
Dartmouth set the tone early with its top three players, Sarah West (Haverford, PA), Charlotte Haldeman (Haverford, PA) and Kelly Sennatt (Greenwich, CT) - ranked 20th, 24th and 37th in the Women's Intercollegiate Squash Association Top-40, individually - each posting 3-0 wins over Amherst's Susanna Burke (St. Louis, MO), Roopali Agarwal (Boxford, MA) and Alexandra Gibbs (Greenwich, CT). Sophomore Liz Martin (Towson, MD) was the only Amherst player beside Stark to stave off a shutout, falling to Crosby Haynes (Bacova, VA), 3-1. The Jeffs return to action this Saturday and Sunday, hosting the Amherst Invitational Tournament.
