Jeffs 11th at Howe Cup
February 17 - The 11th-ranked Amherst women's squash team placed 11th out of 28 teams in the three-day Hope Cup held Friday through Sunday at Yale University. Jeff senior Lindsey Snyder and first-year Mara Alcaly each posted convincing victories in all three of their matches. On Friday, the Jeffs downed Wellesley College, 8-1, and returned Saturday falling to the University of Pennsylvania, 7-2, before rebounding on Sunday to defeat St. Lawrence University, 6-3. Women's Squash Blanked at Fourth-Ranked Yale
February 6 - The Amherst women's squash team saw a two-match winning streak fall by the wayside on Wednesday with a 9-0 loss at fourth-ranked Yale University. Yale first-year Lauren Doline downed Amherst junior Susanna Burke 3-1 at the No. 1 position, and the Bulldogs swept the rest of the matches, 3-0. Full Story

No. 11 Jeffs Crush 14th-Ranked Wellesley, 8-1
February 5 - The 11th-ranked Amherst women's squash team defeated No. 14 Wellesley College, 8-1, Tuesday night at Davenport Courts. The Jeffs won eight matches by way of shutout. With the victory, Amherst improves to 10-5 while Wellesley drops to 11-2. Full Story

No. 10 Jeffs Blank 27th-Ranked Smith, 9-0
January 29 - The 10th-ranked Amherst women's squash team, fresh off a 9-0 shutout loss at the hands of second-ranked Trinity College on January 23rd, turned the tables at 27th-ranked Smith College Tuesday night, blanking the Pioneers, 9-0, without dropping a game. With the win, the Jeffs improved to 9-5 on the season, while the Pioneers fell to 3-13. Full Story

No. 2 Trinity Blanks 14th-Ranked Amherst, 9-0
January 23 - Second-ranked Trinity College blanked the host Amherst College women's squash team, 9-0, on Wednesday, winning all nine matches by way of shutout. The Jeffs fell to 8-5 with the loss, while Trinity improved to 5-0. Full Story

No. 10 Jeffs Fall at Sixth-Ranked Brown, 9-0
January 22 - Sixth-ranked Brown University surrendered just one game in nine matches en route to a 9-0 shutout win over visiting Amherst on Tuesday. Amherst sophomore Emily Stark was the lone player to steal a game for the 10th-ranked Jeffs, falling to Brown sophomore Robin Ried, 3-1 (2-9, 7-9, 10-8, 9-1). Amherst fell to 8-4 with the loss. Hosts Off and Running at Amherst Women's Squash Invitational
January 19 - The 10th-ranked Amherst College women's squash team posted a pair of wins over 12th-ranked Middlebury College and 15th-ranked St. Lawrence University on Friday, before downing 26th-ranked Wesleyan University and falling to the seventh-ranked University of Pennsylvania on Saturday. All four matches were part of the three-day Amherst College Invitational Tournament, which concludes on Sunday. Full Story

No. 10 Jeffs Fall to Eighth-Ranked Dartmouth, 8-1
January 16 - The 10th-ranked women's squash team faced a stiff test in visiting eighth-ranked Ivy League power Dartmouth on Wednesday and came away with a hard-fought 8-1 loss. Sophomore Emily Stark posted the lone win for Amherst, which fell to 4-2 on the season. Full Story
