W-Hockey Falls at Bowdoin, 4-0, in the First Round of the NESCAC Championship Tournament
February 23 - The Amherst women's hockey team fell at Bowdoin College, 4-0, in the first round of the NESCAC Championship Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears tallied a trio of third-period goals en route to the victory and improve to 20-3-1, advancing to the NESCAC semifinals. Despite making their first ever postseason appearance, the Jeffs' season comes to an end at 6-15-1. Full Story

Hockey Teams Claim No. 7 Seeds in Respective NESCAC Championship Tournaments
February 19 - The Amherst men's and women's hockey teams each earned the seventh and final seed in their respective NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournaments, with first-round action set to commence on Saturday, when both teams will travel to Brunswick, Maine to take on second-seeded Bowdoin College. The women's game will tip off at 3:30 p.m. with the men to follow at 7 p.m. Full Story

Jeffs Clinch NESCAC Tournament Berth Despite 3-2 Loss at Hamilton
February 16 - The Amherst women's hockey team fell at NESCAC rival Hamilton College, 3-2, in their regular-season finale Saturday afternoon at Sage Rink. First-year forward Annie Grabowski and sophomore Alison White each tallied goals for the visiting Jeffs, while junior goaltender Heidi Alexander finished with 24 saves. With the loss, Amherst finishes its regular season at 6-14-1 overall and 4-11-1 in NESCAC play, but clinched a berth in the conference's inaugural postseason championship tournament nonetheless. Women's Hockey Falls at Holy Cross, 4-2
February 13 - Despite goals by sophomore Alison White and junior Danielle Williams, and an 18-save performance by junior netminder Heidi Alexander, the Amherst women's hockey team fell at non-league foe Holy Cross (9-11-2) Wednesday night, 4-2. The Jeffs dropped to 6-13-1 with the loss, heading into their final game of the regular season this Saturday at NESCAC rival Hamilton College. Full Story

Jeffs Skate Past Visiting New England, 7-1
February 10 - Senior tri-captain defender Hilary Zwerdling dished out four assists in her final regular season game at Orr Rink as the Amherst College women's hockey team skated past visiting non-league foe New England College, 7-1, on Sunday afternoon. Full Story

Jeffs Fall to Visiting B.U., 2-1
February 9 - The Amherst women's hockey team fell to visiting Boston University, 2-1, Saturday night in an exhibition game at Orr Rink. Terrier forward Amy Mastroianni scored the game-winner :11 into the second period. Sophomore defender Elissa Landes tallied the lone Amherst goal off a feed from junior forward Danielle Williams. Alexander Tabbed U.S. College Hockey Online Women's Defensive Player of the Week
February 8 - Amherst junior netminder Heidi Alexander was tabbed U.S. College Hockey Online Women's Defensive Player of the Week after recording 32 saves in a 2-1 victory over visiting NESCAC foe Trinity College on Friday, and finishing with 47 saves in a 1-1 tie against visiting NESCAC and Little Three rival Wesleyan University on Saturday. Jeffs Pound Cross-Town Rival UMass, 10-4
February 6 - Junior tri-captain forward Danielle Williams tallied a hat trick and an assist while sophomore forwards Tory Serues and Katie Potter each netted a pair of goals as the Amherst College women's hockey team won an exhibition game against cross-town rival UMass-Amherst, 10-4, Wednesday night at Orr Rink.
