2001-02 Amherst Women's Golf Milestones

TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
*Participated in nine tournaments, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Division III NCAA Championship Tournament, hosted by Mount Holyoke College at the nearby Orchards Golf Club. It was the second straight year the Jeffs have qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
*Other highlights included a first-place finish at the Williams College Lady Eph Invitational (10/14), a first-place finish at the Hartford Invitational (4/14-15), a third-place finish at the Mass. State Championships (4/26), and a sixth-place finish at the Northeast Championships (11/27-28).

INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Senior Captain Jamie Ratner (Liberty, NY)
*Named to the 2001-02 Division III All-Scholar Team by the National Golf Coaches Association for the second consecutive season. Ratner and teammate Katie Gravel were the only players from the NESCAC to be so honored.
*NESCAC Fall All-Academic.

Junior Katie Gravel (Manchester, ME)
*Named to the 2001-02 Division III All-Scholar Team by the National Golf Coaches Association for the second consecutive season. Gravel and teammate Jaime Ratner were the only players from the NESCAC to be so honored.

First-Year Emily Foran (Dallas, PA)
*NGCA Honorable Mention All-American after pacing the Jeffs with a fourth-place individual finish at the NCAA Division III Championships.
